“‘To the Hour’ is a track inspired and formed in part by some unexpected sounds heard during a mandatory pause on a busy day to do some life admin. These sounds passing through walls, squeezing through gaps in doors, colliding and combining in such riveting settings as the dentist’s office forced me to lighten up about disruption and accept the gifts of the mundane. The sounds in 'To the Hour' are bass and tenor baritone guitars, samples from ordinary places, and voice.”
